My Business is Expanding,

and so am I - in more ways than one!

When you make a comittment to push yourself outside of your comfort zone, business expands, and it goes without saying that it also has an impact with your personal growth and expansion.  Over the last few months as I've settled into business coaching Beyond Business Success Style I've been challenged in my own personal confidence.  Can I really do this, and will I bring value to my clients was more a personal question than the program itself.  I knew the program is fantastic, but "am I skilled enough to deliver?"  I don't know if you've ever asked yourself those type of questions, but it seems to be a patern in every new area I've ever moved into in my life - that self doubt tries to creep it's way back in and hold me from my best.  As time goes on, it has less hold, and I am more sure within myself that "yes, I am enough" 

So how does one get to such a level of confidence within herself?

How could you possibly learn to trust yourself, when all you have to reference is the times you've let yourself down by setting goals too high and unrealistic?  Then overwhelming yourself into procrastination only to find yourself at the goal date, no better off than you were the day you set it?  You're down for a little while, then once again feel the complete frustration at your current situation, and setting massively out of reach goals once again... and so the patern continues.  Sound familiar? 

What if you were to set yourself baby step goals which are action based, rather than results based?  ie. instead of "I will have 6new websites up and running and proffitable in the next 3mths"  try "I will comitt to spending 1hr a day 3days a week to building and improving upon my websites"  This will allow you to do what you say you're going to do and therefore build confidence and trust within yourself.  It will not be dependant on result that you can-not anticipate, but it focuses on the things that you do have control over and therefore puts you in a place of empowerment and strength.

On another note - I'm also expanding physically!  Our 4th baby is officially in the oven... oh, before I scare anyone - that means it's in my belly!   We found out last week that it's a little boy, which is set to even up our tribe nicely.  He is due to come out in the first week of September, but my babies have been known to get very comfortable and enjoy the good feeding for a little longer than the doctors anticipate.  So, on that note, Please don't be emailing me in August and asking if I've had a baby yet - I will let you know! As any Mother knows, it's the last thing you need when you're pushing through those final heavy weeks.

At Beyond Success we have some great skills that can make a real difference to the life of someone who has been through a harrowing experience. We understand it may be a long road to recovery and want to support you through this.


Our Director of Coaching, Jules Tarrant, has been in contact with the Salvation Army to offer our services and as I am sure you are all aware, they have been inundated by the number of people turning up to help. What a great example of that Aussie spirit!


While the Salvos are very interested in our initiative they are flat out due to the massive amount of people they are trying to co-ordinate. While we continue to await guidance from the head of the Criticial Incidents Unit about whether they are planning to use our skills in the near future, we have decided we must act now to assist those in need through our Beyond Success network.


Following Paul Blackburn's experience of being personally involved with counseling the bush fire victims in 2003, we now have almost 80 volunteer coaches who have been trained to assist people through loss - particularly in the natural disaster context. We are ready, willing and able to support you or someone you know through the experience by providing survivors with a safe and supportive environment in which they can be helped to identify how best to continue moving forward and where other assistance may be needed. They will also be a supportive person to call to share your
experience with and help with the emotional effects of such a devastating experience.


And the best thing about this? You can do it from where you are right now! You do not need you to travel and there is no cost to you. This is our way of giving back to the community.

The conscious faculty serves, therefore, as an outer- guard to the approach of the subconscious.  Nature has so built man that he has ABSOLUTE CONTROL over the material which reaches his subconscious mind, through his five senses, although this is not meant to be construed as a statement that man always EXERCISES this control. In the great majority of instances, he does NOT exercise it, which explains why so many people go through life in poverty.

Recall what has been said about the subconscious mind resembling a fertile garden spot, in which weeds will grow in abundance, if the seeds of more desirable crops are not sown therein. AUTOSUGGESTION is the agency of control through which an individual may voluntarily feed his subconscious
mind on thoughts of a creative nature, or, by neglect, permit thoughts of a destructive nature to find their way into this rich garden of the mind.
